Thanks to our partner ELMA, SOC-E was present at the 38th AFCEA fair in Bonn, one of Europe’s leading events in the fields of information technology, defence, and security.
Held at the World Conference Center Bonn on 27 and 28 May 2025, the event brought together over 250 leading companies in the sector. Although the fair was fairly small, it provided an excellent opportunity to share experiences, learn about new developments and establish strategic relationships with key players in the ecosystem.
Many visitors came to the ELMA stand to find out about market trends and, above all, to see our demonstration of the various TSN mechanisms implemented in our XMC.
This demo presented the TSN capabilities integrated into our XMC, including mechanisms such as Qav, AS, Qbv, Qci, CB and Qcc. These were introduced through the Web Manager interface, where their configuration and role within TSN-based networks were explained. We also provided insight into the device’s internal architecture, detailing the port distribution and rationale behind the hardware design.
We also addressed other relevant features, such as VLAN configuration, traffic separation and traffic shaping, giving visitors a comprehensive overview of how the XMC can be integrated into mission-critical and high-reliability network environments.
