HSR/PRP Switch IP ported to Zynq-7000 – October 2012 –

SoC-e has ported its HSR/PRP Switch IP core to Xilinx Serie-7 FPGAs and to Zynq SoC. The targeted Evaluation Kit is ZC702 that in combination with two Avnet Industrial Ethernet FMC boards offers 5 Ethernet Ports. In the Reference Design, the Zynq runs SNMP protocol for management and TCP/IP high level applications. The HSR/PRP Switch IP implemented in the programmable section is in charge of PRP or HSR protocols.
