SoC-e has had the opportunity to travel to Berlin to the IEEE 802 PLENARY SESSION 2023. Our company has been represented by our colleagues David Modroño and Daniel Uribe who have returned grateful for having had the opportunity to meet first-hand the people who are working on the profiles and standards of Time Sensitive Networking (TSN). And also for been able to participate in interesting debates on how the technology is approached.
In such a meeting there have been very interesting conversations focused on specific problems, among which we can mention as an example the proposals for simplification of the synchronisation protocol (Time Synchronization, IEEE802.1AS-2020) applied to the TSN Aerospace profile.
Therefore, from SoC-e, we will certainly continue to participate in the discussions & meetings. As TSN’s technology providers, we consider it very important to be aware of the latest advances, as well as the definition of standards, in order to be able to offer our customers solutions adapted to them in an agile way.
