Last week, SOC-E participated in the second edition of the European Data Handling & Data Processing Conference (EDHPC 2025), held in Elche, Spain.
Organized by the European Space Agency (ESA), this key event brought together experts from across Europe to discuss the latest developments in on-board computers, data handling systems, data processing, and microelectronics for both platform and payload space applications — covering RF and optical domains alike.

Among the many cutting-edge topics, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and SpaceWire emerged as two of the most discussed communication technologies within the “Bus & Networks” sessions dedicated to space systems.

Continuing the momentum from our previous participation in 2023, SOC-E presented a technical paper and a corresponding talk prepared in collaboration with our partner SYSGO.
Entitled “Revolutionizing the Space Industry: The Power of TSN and RTOS Integration,” our contribution showcased the latest development status, benchmarking results, and testing insights achieved by integrating SOC-E’s TSN IP cores with SYSGO’s PikeOS RTOS.

Our participation in EDHPC 2025 reaffirms SOC-E’s position as a leading developer of deterministic networking solutions for mission-critical environments, and highlights our ongoing commitment to advancing open standards, interoperability, and reliability in next-generation space communications.

We extend our gratitude to our partner SYSGO for their close collaboration and continued support in this joint effort to contribute valuable research to the aerospace and scientific community.
