ABB AG will retrofit Thermal power stations using SoC-e HSR High-availability Ethernet IP

ABB Power Generation has released the retrofitting operation that will be done in old Thermal Power Stations, like in the 1950s  Helibronn one, based on their new Remote Bus Communication Module 88TK60R1210. SoCe keeps pushing the improvement of its IP Cores in order to fit the the needs of their customers. This time, we are happy to announce that the last update of the 1588Tiny IP Core adds support for Layer-3 PTP Operation. 1588Tiny is a hardware-only IEEE 1588-2008 V2 Slave Only compliant clock synchronization IP core for Xilinx FPGAs.
