Hardware Acceleration for Data Processing in the Smart Grid presented at SPS

SoC-e in collaboration with Xilinx Inc. presents at the SPS Exhibition held in Nuremberg, a disruptive solution to perform a massive and paralleled  DSP processing of the Current and Voltage values measured in the Smart Grid.

This computation, done on-premises or cloud data-centers, supports a few microsecond range fixed latency DSP processing of hundreds of Sampled Measured Values streams using only one FPGA acceleration card. This performance is order of magnitude higher than the conventional processing done by stand-alone IED devices. Thus, a plethora of new high-level applications for Smart Grid automation, control, security, quality analysis and business intelligence is enabled…

The demo is based in a PCIe Xilinx based devices acceleration cards cards (Zynq-7000, Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC and a preview of the upcoming implementation on Alveo) and on SoC-e SMV IP core.

If you are interested about knowing more about this disruptive solution, do not hesitate to send an email to info@soc-e.com to host a face-to-face meeting in Nuremberg with SoC-e and Xilinx team. Xilinx booth Xilinx Stand #4-558 (From the 26th to the 28th of November 2019)
