SoC-e board goes to Space (ISS) this 20th of May in SATLANTIS Optical Telescope

The 20th of March, SATLANTIS Optical Telescope will be launched with the International Space Station as the final destination.

SoC-e has collaborated with SATLANTIS space specialists in the development of the High-Performance Processing Board for the New Generation of Observation Micro-satellites that provides the computation and networking capabilities to this payload. The developed board has been qualified for the most demanding tests and essays required by the sector. Additionally, thanks to the reconfigurable nature of the platform, the engineering teams are embedding progressively added-value computation and networking capabilities.

In words of Mr. Luis C. Fernandez, COO in Satlantis The field-proven experience of SoC-e in the development of ruggedized reconfigurable computation platforms was a key factor to choose SoC-e as the trustable partner to collaborate in this  challenging Project”. This expertise in addition to SoC-e portfolio of IPs for time-aware high-availability networking has reduced the design risks and time-to-market of the platform.

System-on-Chip engineering S.L., SoC-e,  is a worldwide leading supplier of time-aware Ethernet networking solutions based on FPGA technology. SoC-e is pioneer in developing a portfolio of IP cores and rugged platforms that implement these technologies for critical systems.
