SoC-e will be present at the ISPCS 2015 symposium held in Beijing – China from the 11th to 16th October 2015

The ISPCS is a symposium that focuses on technologies of precision clock synchronization and consist of a plugfest and several conferences. This event is held from the 11th until the 16th of October 2015 in Beijing, China. SoC-e will take part in the plug-fest/interoperability event and will present in the congress the following cutting-edge research works: “Security Mechanisms to protect IEEE 1588 Synchronization: State of the Art and Trends” and “1588-aware High-Availability Cyber-Physical Production Systems” For more information please visit:…

Visit SoC-e at IoT World Congress 2015 (Barcelona, Spain) – September 2015

SoC-e presents at IoT World Congress 2015 in Barcelona the first HSR based Cyber-Physical-Production-System (CPPS). The key challenges of CPPS are the intercommunication between heterogeneous devices and networks, compatibility with traditional automation systems and cyber-security. SoC-e presents at this event a demo that shows how re-configurable devices in combination with networking and synchronization IP cores enable “Plug&Work” Smart CPPS. The “bumpless” redundancy of HSR/PRP networks combined with IEEE 1588 technology are good candidates to interconnect distributed sensors, actuators or PLC networks among the…

Zynq SoC Enables Cyber-Secure High-Availability Industrial Networks – September 2015

The SMARTzynq board from SoC-e includes a new reference design that solves the emerging demand in the Industry for Plug&Work network equipment with embedded cyber-secure authentication means. The implementation combines bumpless, redundant 1GE HSR/PRP ports with an 802.1X Tri-speed Ethernet port in a Redbox-DAN architecture that is managed under Linux. The authentication process can be tested using Windows 802.1X supplicant standard tool. Lean more.…
